Olamide, Do2dtun, other celebrities mourn late singer, Mohbad

Many Nigerian celebrities have expressed their condolences following the death of musician Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.


On Tuesday evening, the 27-year-old passed away.

In response to the death, prominent On Air Personality Do2dtun shared a photo of their final moment together.

He wrote: “Mohbad. This was just two days ago.”

Singer Iyanya in a post on his X handle wrote: “RIP Mohbad your Journey on Earth will never be forgotten. May God receive you in His Holy Hands.”

BBNaija reality star and media personality, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha in a post on X wrote: “MohBad, Life is just too short. Mohbad was just on the Big Friday show with me last month. This news is heavy and I still can’t believe it.”

Singer Olamide, sharing a heart broken emoji, wrote: “Damn! Mohbad.”

CKay in a post on his official X wrote: “No one should have to go through this. RIP Mohbad.”
