KanyiDaily recalls that during a recent interview with Vanguard, Phyna’s father Felix Otabor revealed that he has not seen his daughter or received responses to their calls since she won the N100million grand prize for the 2022 BBNaija ‘Level Up’ edition.
Mr Otabor, a seasoned hearse driver, recalled how Phyna had urged him to sell his old cars after winning the reality TV show, promising to transform his life.
Unfortunately, when he sold his cars as scrap and used the proceeds for home renovations, it marked the beginning of financial hardships for Mr Otabor. Without a vehicle, his professional life as a hearse driver suffered, leading to challenges in supporting himself.
He emphasized his need for assistance, sharing that he’s actively seeking someone who can provide him with a car through a hire purchase arrangement.
Mr Felix Otabor expressed his desire not to suffer in silence and lamented the difficulties he has faced since selling his cars based on his daughter’s advice.
Reacting on her Twitter page, Phyna expressed her anger towards Vanguard News correspondent, Ben Njoku, over incessant calls and messages she has been receiving from him.
The reality star, who did not deny abandoning her parents, accused Vanguard of fabricating a story about her family and hinted at possible legal action against the publication.
She wrote, “I think it’s time for me to sue this useless Vanguard. They’ve been tormenting me with texts and calls.”
“I mistakenly picked one of the numbers 4 days back. Immediately I said hello, the useless man just said he is Ben Njoku from Vanguard, and the next thing this man started doing was asking me questions.”
“I just told him, ‘How can you come to me and start questioning me?’ Immediately, I then ended the call. He texted me immediately, saying that he is so sorry.”
“Now, you went back to your cupboard to say your father is crying, and your mother gave him a bastard son? Vanguard will crumble.”
“This is the number of the bastard that has been disturbing me from Vanguard. This particular cooking will choke you. You will hear from my lawyer.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Phyna recently addressed the intense altercation that occurred between her and fellow housemate, Chichi, during the BBNaija reunion show.
