In a post shared on her Instagarm page, Mary Njoku revealed that she doesn’t listen to Malian songs and had never heard of Mohbad until his passing.
The actress said she recently listened to some of his songs and watched his disturbing videos circulation on social media, which deeply moved her.
She called for justice in the singer’s case and expressed her concerns about the perceived value of human life in Nigeria.
“Never really been a huge follower of Malians. Thought the songs were too much for me. So, never heard of this young talent,” she wrote.
“But listening to his songs last night and watching these videos circulating the internet is tear-jerking. Makes me wonder, what really is the value of a human life in Nigeria? Haba”.
