Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Vee Iye has expressed gratitude to Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, for starring her in a new movie titled “She Must Be Obeyed.”

Taking to her Instagram page, Vee Iye shared a screenshot of a direct message she sent to Funke Akindele years ago, where she humbly requested a role in any of her movies.

Funke responded positively, assuring her of a role in one of her future projects.

True to her word, Funke Akindele cast Vee Iye in her latest movie, ‘She Must Be Obeyed,’ which is exclusively available on Prime Video. The film also features notable actors like Mike Ezurounye, Nancy Isime, and others.

Expressing her gratitude, Vee acknowledged Funke for not only fulfilling her promise but for also being instrumental in boosting her confidence.
