BBNaija All Stars reality show was toxic, I almost took voluntary exit – Cross

Big Brother Naija All Stars contestant Ikechukwu Sunday Okonkwo, aka Cross, has claimed that the reality programme was “dark and toxic,” and that he almost left on his own accord at one point.

In a recent interview with media personality Miracle OP, he revealed this.

“A lot of things happened during my time in Big Brother House,” Cross explained. For about two or three weeks, I felt depressed.

“There was a time when I really wanted to go to Big Brother and tell him I was done.” I was desperate to leave the House.

“The House was so dark; there was fighting, arguments, and toxicity.” It was just a different energy, and I couldn’t imagine myself being pleased. I couldn’t picture me accomplishing much. There were a lot of powerful energies that were dimming me. I was unable to be myself…When compared to my first season, The House got to me at times.”

The presence of a houseguest, KimOprah, on the show, he claims, helped stabilise him.
