Checkout 3 International Artistes Davido Has Brought To Nigeria

The ‘heavyweights’ in the global music business have found a way to mingle with local Nigerian artists. Examples of these celebrities who have collaborated with Nigerian artists are Chris Brown, Drake, Beyonce, Nas, Nicki Minaj, Nasty C and many others. 

Today’s article will be centered on international artists Davido has brought to Nigeria.

1. Rick Ross

Rick Ross is the first name on this list. Their show which they titled ‘Rick Ross and Davido Live In Lagos’ gave Nigerians especially those in Lagos, gave Nigerians an Easter celebration to remember all their lives.

The Rick Ross & Davido Live In Lagos Concert was sponsored by Immensum Stellar Live (I.S.L), a partnership between two brands to bring the best of music and entertainment to Nigeria that not only showcases Afrobeats to the world but also celebrates the global impact Afrobeats has had on the music scene.

2. Dababy

Dababy is an American rapper based in the United States of America. He is not just a rapper but a very famous one at that. He comes second among notable celebrities Davido has brought to Nigeria.

Jonathan Lyndale Kirk popularly known as DaBaby got into Lagos from Germany for a music video shoot with Nigerian music star Davido.

The famous rapper posted numerous videos on his Instagram page while exploring the city of Lagos. First, he visited a Nike shoe store where he bought a few sneakers, then, he shared a video of himself among a crowd of Lagosians, before entering his vehicle.

While spraying some dollars into the crowd, a man from the crowd warned him to hold his phone tight.

Recall that Dababy shared a video of him with Davido in his Lamborghini, DaBaby asked “where are we going” and Davido replied, saying “Tonight, I will show you Lagos”.

Davido also posted on his social media platforms to confirm the arrival of DaBaby in Nigeria. He wrote: “My boy finna touch down the Motherland.”

The American rapper also referred to Nigeria as his home.

3. Nasty C

Nasty C is a South African music star who has collaborated with Nas, French Montana and AKA.

Davido and Nasty C collaborated on “Coolest Kid In Africa” and “Juice Back”.

The latter was a single that was featured in Davido’s debut Extended Playlist “Son of Mercy,” an impressive collection of five solid tracks.

Nasty C came to Nigeria in 2018, where he performed their hit track, “Coolest Kid In Africa” along with the Nigerian fans singing and dancing to it. This show had Davido delivering as usual, while Nasty C contributed bars to the instrumental.
