Balarabe Abbas was shedding light on his profile for the position of minister when he slumped on the floor of the Senate on Wednesday afternoon.
In response, Senate President Godswill Akpabio promptly called for water and decided to transition the upper legislative chamber into a closed session.
“Get him water, get him water,” Akpabio urgently instructed.
KanyiDaily had also reported how a heated session took place in the Senate on Monday when Senator Darlington Nwokocha moved a motion to suspend the ministerial screening of Festus Keyamo.
