Myself, Mercy like each other genuinely – Pere

Pere Egbi, a former Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate, has stated that he and Mercy have a true liking for each other.

The couple were involved in a passionate romance in the final week of the just concluded BBNaija All-Stars season, according to reports.

In a recent interview with Africa Magic, Pere revealed to Ebuka Obi-Uchendu that he had a crush on Mercy even before the show aired.

“I’ve seen her [Mercy],” he remarked. I was talking to Cross before the show, and I know she [Mercy] likes me and I like her.

“So there’s a similarity there.” That should be the start of anything, whether it’s friendship or anything else. We actually enjoy each other.”

“There was nothing romantic with KimOprah,” Pere claimed of his relationship with her. She’s always been a good buddy. It’s just a casual friendship. I was aware of it from outside the House. We’ve hung out a few times. Nothing out of the usual happened.”
