When District Judge Tierra Jones asked Davis to enter a plea, he replied, “Not guilty.”
Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson stated following the hearing, “We talked about it, and I determined that it’s not a case in which we should seek the death penalty.”
“It doesn’t matter that the entire world is watching. “What we care about is presenting the evidence to a jury, so the jury can make the final decision,” he told the Review-Journal.
