Several goods and property worth millions of naira were consumed in a devastating late-night fire that swept through the well-known Ladipo Plank Market in Amukoko, situated on Iganmu Road, Orile, Lagos State.

The Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyitolu, confirmed that fortunately, there were no reports of any loss of life in the incident.

He said the agency received emergency calls and found the plank market gutted by fire upon arrival.
