Happie Boys Makes First Public Appearance In Nigeria After Their Deportation From Cyprus [Video]

Former security guards and internet sensations, Happie Boys have made their first public appearance in Nigeria following their deportation from Cyprus.

KanyiDaily recalls that Happie Boys gained attention on social media in June when they called out Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere who had sponsored their education in Cyprus.

The duo, Matthew Precious Kelechi, and Amakor Johnson criticized the clergyman for ending their scholarship six months after their arrival in Cyprus and abandoning them in the foreign country.

In his defense, Apostle Chibuzor explained that he stopped sending them money due to the scarcity of dollars in Nigeria and suggested that the boys return to Nigeria or Benin Republic to continue their education.

However, Happie Boys declined the offer and expressed their preference to remain in Cyprus. They also taunted the clergyman for telling them that he had paid for their return tickets to Nigeria.

In October, Happie Boys were reportedly arrested and arraigned before a court in Cyprus for an unspecified crime and remanded in an underground prison by the court.

It was gathered that the boys were arrested for issues involving internet fraud, drugs, and immigration status in Cyprus, prompting Apostle Chibuzor to deploy his legal team to secure their release.

A few days ago, reports emerged that Happie Boys were deported to Nigeria on Monday night, October 30, and are currently staying in a hotel in Utako, Abuja.

Following their return to Nigeria, Happie Boys and their manager, Caleb, were seen in a recent video enjoying themselves with some friends at a residence in Abuja.

There was also a social hangout that took place at an open-air lounge in the nation’s capital and the internet sensations were alsoseen drinking wine while having fun.

KanyiDaily recalls that before their arrest, Happie Boys were recently seen in a video entertaining guests at a club in Cyprus after they refused to return back to Nigeria.
