In an Instagram story message to his late friend, the singer said he is still reeling from the shock of losing Mohbad.
He admitted to becoming an alcoholic after the death of a friend.
The ‘Cash App’ singer expressed regret that his son, Abiola Imole, whom he named after Mohbad, would grow up unaware of his namesake.
He did, however, promise to uphold Mohbad’s legacy and to look after his son, Liam.
Bella Shmurda captioned a photo of Mohbad, “You told me to stop it [mourning].” I’ve been attempting. I just hope you’re doing well where you are, because [I] haven’t been happy in days. [I] have been drinking and agonising over how to proceed.
“It’s said [that] Abiola Imole never get to know you. But be rest assured [that] I will tell your story. And I will definitely take care of our fruit [son]. I’m passing all the love to our sons.
“Lol. Lowkey, I’m Bell and Sons Inc.”
Kanyidaily recalls that Davido, Bella Shmurda, others attended memorial procession for Mohbad.
