KanyiDaily recalls that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were apprehended upon their return to Nigeria, allegedly connected to Mohbad’s controversial death.
The situation gained more attention after a video surfaced, showing Sam Larry assaulting Mohbad, sparking discussions about their involvement in the singer’s death.
The duo, who has been in detention since October 4, 2023, have reportedly been granted bail, with the stipulation that each of them must enlist three individuals as sureties, who must each provide a significant amount of 20 million naira.
The court conditions also mandate surrendering their foreign passports and weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The presiding magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun issued a firm warning against any attempt to contact her, cautioning that such actions could be recorded and disclosed during public court proceedings.
The development comes a few days after Naira Marley and Sam Larry filed a N40m lawsuit against Lagos State magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun and the police over their detention.
