Mohbad’s wife Wunmi demands international, local DNA test [Video]

Wunmi, the late singer Mohbad’s wife, has stated that the DNA test requested by his father-in-law, James Aloba, to determine the genuine paternity of her son Liam must be undertaken both in Nigeria and abroad.

Iyabo Ojo, a popular Nollywood actress, announced this on Thursday during an Instagram live session on her page.

According to the report, actress Tonto Dike and singer Bella Shmurda have asked the police to release Mohbad’s body for a proper burial, claiming that his autopsy results were taking too long.

In response, Mohbad’s father, who had insisted that a DNA test be performed in his presence, warned that no one should retrieve his son’s remains without his permission, emphasising that he wants justice.

Iyabo Ojo responded by revealing her private phone chat with Wunmi on Thursday.

Wumi emphasised to Iyabo that her father-in-law’s lawyers have yet to contact her and her lawyer about the test.

While emphasising that the test would not be her financial responsibility, Wunmi insisted that the DNA test must also be conducted in Nigeria as well as abroad.
