Tope Maggie’s accomplishment, which is yet to be confirmed by the Guinness World Record, surpasses the previous record set by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who held a record of 119 hours and 57 minutes.
According to Oyo Affairs on Twitter, Chef Maggie completed an impressive 200-hour cook-a-thon, concluding in the early hours of Saturday, November 18.
The event took place at Ogbomoso Recreation Club, opposite LAUTECH College of Health Sciences, Isale-General, Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

Tope Maggie, a graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, where he studied Hotel Management, managed to surpass Fisher’s record amidst cheers from his supporters.
Tope Maggie inherited his name “Maggie” from his mother, who taught him the art of cooking.
The Oyo chef, who manages a chain of restaurants in Ogbomoso, awaits confirmation of his record by the Guinness World Records, while congratulations and celebrations pour in for his remarkable achievement.
