Remo Stars duo, Mizo, Alukwu battle for NPFL Player of the Month award

Sikiru Alimi and Sodiq Ismail of Remo Stars have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Football League’s Player of the Month award for September/October.


Alimi currently has five goals to his name in the NPFL.

With four goals, Ismail currently leads the assists chart.

Robert Mizo of Bayelsa United is also a candidate for the award.

Mizo has five goals this season for the Prosperity Boys.

Jonathan Alukwu of Sporting Lagos and Kazeem Ogunleye of Rangers are also nominated for the award.

Michael Olusesi, captain of the Sunshine Stars, is on the list.
