Tems Celebrates Ayra Starr And Tyla On Their Grammy Award Nominations

Nigerian songstress, Tems has extended her congratulations to fellow artists Ayra Starr and Tyla for securing nominations at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

KanyiDaily recalls that the Recording Academy unveiled the list of nominees on November 10, with Burna Boy leading the African category with four nominations.

Ayra Starr’s “Rush” and South African singer Tyla’s “Water” earned nominations in the Best African Music Performance category alongside Asake, Olamide, Burna Boy, and Davido.

Expressing her pride on Twitter, Tems celebrated the achievements of Ayra Starr and Tyla as the only two female singers in a category dominated by men.

The “Try Me” crooner commended their hard work and belief, expressing happiness and pride while wishing them continued success.

Tems wrote; “Seeing these girlies win is actually everything because they work so hard and they believed! I’m so happy and proud rn, a huge congratulations So well deserved. More is coming!! @ayrastarr @Tyllaaaaaaa”
