‘When winners are speaking, don’t talk’ – BBNaija’s Ilebaye replies critics

Ilebaye Odiniya, the Big Brother Naija All Stars winner, has challenged critics who say her demeanour is not “befitting” of a reality show winner to replicate her success if it is “easy.”

She boasted that her accomplishment was not easy, advising her detractors not to talk “when winners are speaking.”

Ilebaye said in Pidgin during a recent Instagram live session with fans: “People will say, ‘See una winner.'” If e is simple, try am. Try it if being a winner is simple.

“Do you understand what it means to be an All-Star? If it’s simple, oya, do it. It’s not going to be simple, Jare. Please, don’t speak when the winners are speaking.”

Kanyidaily recalls that Ilebaye walked home with the N120 million grand prize after emerging as the winner of the Big Brother Naija All Stars edition on October 1.

Since winning the reality show, the self-styled ‘Gen Z Baddie’ has been a subject of criticism, especially for her social media behaviour and fashion sense.
