Nigerian actor, Uti Nwachukwu has warned women to stop bullying men who come out to identify themselves as gay.
The actor claimed that women contribute to the reluctance of men to come out of the closet, leading to the concealment of their true sexual orientation.
Uti Nwachukwu also attributed the practice of gay men marrying women to hide their sexuality to the bullying they face from women.
He expressed this viewpoint in response to an Instagram user’s comment encouraging more men to come out of the closet and be honest about their sexuality.
The Instagram user wrote: “More men need to come out of the closet! And stop fooling women!”
In his reaction, Uti argued that the bullying men experience from women after coming out is a significant factor that compels them to remain in the closet and enter into marriages as a means of concealment.
He wrote, “And more women need to stop bullying the ones who have come out of the closet! The more shame you give to men the more they will marry women to cover up. Choice is yours.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Uti Nwachukwu recently shared his thoughts about monogamous relationships, saying it is almost impossible to stay faithful to one’s partner forever.
