Emeka Ike’s marriage to Suzanne Emma faced accusations of battery, resulting in its dissolution by a Lagos Island Customary Court in 2015.
In a recent interview on Channels Television, Emeka Ike opened up about the challenges he endured during his marital crisis.
The actor recounted how he left for the United States, only to return to find that his wife had shut down his secondary school and removed his properties from their home.
He explained that his wife sold his school, valued at over N480 million, without informing him and he also lost access to his children.
In response, Suzzane Emma decided to share her side of the story in an interview with popular media personality Chude Jideonwo.
The entrepreneur disclosed that her ex-husband was a sociopath, recounting experiences of abuse during their marriage.
According to her, Emeka Ike was a woman beater and a drug addict who subjected her to abuse throughout their 17-year marriage.
She recounted a specific incident at the hospital when their child was seriously ill, describing how Ike verbally berated her and physically assaulted her.
Suzanne said, “There was a time we went to the hospital; my child was sick. We didn’t have money. And I was trying to negotiate with the hospital to treat the child, and we would pay later.
“It was taking a little bit of time, and he [Emeka Ike] just came in and started yelling at me, ‘You’re a fool. You don’t know how to do things. What’s all this? You can’t even talk to them. Who are they? They’re beneath you, and you’re allowing them to do this and all that.’
“And I got upset and said, ‘Sir, why are you being a jerk?’ And I went off into the car to sit down. Immediately he [Emeka Ike] was coming into the car; his punch was the first thing that I was seeing on my jaw.”
“He is a sociopath because there was a day that he had finished hiting and I was on the floor Looking at him………”
