Life has been meaningless since I lost my mother – Wizkid

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known as Wizkid, a popular Nigerian musician, has opened up about his grief following the death of his mother, Dolapo Balogun.

Kanyidaily reported that the musician lost his mother in August 2023, on a tour for his album, ‘More Love Less Ego’ in Europe.

Wizkid took to social media to share his thoughts following his mother’s departure, claiming that life had become meaningless without her.

On Wednesday, the musician invited his fans to collaborate with God in an Instagram post.

“Made idk days after I lost my mother,” he wrote. Life has had no purpose! But we are. Sometimes you just have to let go. “Collaborate with God.”

Kanyidaily recalls that Wizkid reportedly paid $24.5 million to perform in Saudi Arabia.
