Davido reveals why he bought a multi-million-naira frog pendant from Ice Box

David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, of Afrobeats fame, has disclosed why he purchased a multi-million naira frog jewellery from Ice Box.

In a recent interview with GQ, the 30 Billion Gang boss said that he designed a frog pendant to retaliate against social media haters.

He claimed that trolls on Twitter (now X) were calling him “frog” due of his hoarse voice, so he wanted to make something out of it.

Davido said: “I made a frog pendant because my voice is hoarse and they [trolls] were calling me frog on Twitter. I was like, you know what? I’m going to make a chain out of that sh*t.”

Kanyidaily recalls that Davido and his crew were spotted in Harvesters church for new year cross over service.
