During a Q&A session on her eponymous podcast, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu engaged her fans and answered questions about her marriage — among others.
In response to an inquisitive fan who asked if she was considering a divorce from the TV host, Cynthia replied, “No, I am not getting a divorce”.
Expressing her surprise and seeking clarification, she questioned the motivation behind such a query, wondering if the person was “wishing divorce on me?”
She said, “Why will you even ask that kind of question? I actually want to know the reason why you asked that.
“No, I am not getting a divorce and I will not be getting a divorce. And that is a weird a** question. Are you wishing divorce on me? I reject you.”
Cynthia further claimed that she doesn’t harbor insecurities about Ebuka’s profession, stressing that she is naturally not an insecure person and that she would feel the same way regardless of the nature of his job.
Ebuka’s wife emphasized that his job, hosting a reality show, is no different from any other profession in terms of its impact on their relationship.
“I am not an insecure person naturally. So his job is his job. It is just like any other job. If I were to be insecure, if he were to be a doctor, I will still be insecure. I am naturally not an insecure person. That is that really. I do not think his job makes me insecure,” she added.
