FCT Police Confirm Arrest of Alleged Notorious Kidnapper, Chinaza Phillip, in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed  the arrest of Chinaza Phillip, suspected to be a notorious kidnapper causing terror in the nation’s capital

In a statement issued by SP Josephine Adeh, the Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police, it was confirmed that the arrested suspect was taken into custody in Kaduna State

She stated that the arrested suspect, who was handed over to the FCT Command on Friday, is currently in custody.

The statement reads, “The FCT Police Command wishes to confirm the arrest of one Chinaza Phillip, a notorious Abuja kidnapper by police operatives of the Kaduna State Police Command on Thursday 18th January 2024.

“The suspect has been handed over to FCT police Command today Friday 19th January, 2024, and is currently in police custody. More details will be communicated soon.”

Kanyi Daily recalls that Thursday witnessed an intense gunfire exchange as police officers rescued Segun Akinyemi, an Abuja resident who had been kidnapped while driving out of his home.
