Nigerian singer, Lil Frosh has responded to his gx-girlfriend Influencer, Gift Camille, popularly known as Cute Gemini, who accused him of assault.

In 2020, Lil Frosh faced accusations of assault from Gift Camille who also shared photos of her bruised face, leading to legal action and subsequent termination of his contract by singer Davido.

However, in 2022, Gift Camille withdrew the case after reaching an out-of-court settlement with Lil Frosh, claiming that she had forgiven him.

Fast forward to January 27, 2024, Lil Frosh took to Instagram to refute the assault allegations, stating that he had only slapped Gift Camille because she disrespected his mother, expressing remorse for his action.

The singer claimed that the influencer falsely accused him of assault with photos of her swollen face which was an allergic reaction to food.

He also shared screenshots of their conversation where she pleaded for them to reconcile following the downturn of his music career.

In the leaked chats, Cute Gemini stressed her willingness to take any necessary steps to mend their relationship, expressing regret that the situation escalated beyond her expectations.

Reacting to Lil Frosh’s claims, Cute Gemini insisted that the swelling on her face was a result of maltreatment rather than an allergy, and contradicted the singer’s claim that she had urged him to make up.

Sharing a video of herself with Lil Frosh in a bedroom, the influencer claimed the singer was the one calling, texting and disturbing her to fix up their relationship.

Cute Gemini revealed that they got back together in October 2022 and dated for months until May 2023 when Lil Frosh allegedly started getting aggressive again, calling and threatening some of her friends.

Reacting to the claim via his Instagram page, Lil Frosh clarified that he was not in a relationship with Gift Camille in 2023 and explained that during that time, he was at her mercy and desperate for his career.

Lil Frosh expressed that his primary desire was for Gift Camille to publicly declare that he was innocent of the accusations leveled against him.

He revealed that both he and his lawyer had hoped that her acknowledgment of the truth would lead to the withdrawal of the case from the court.

The singer admitted to resorting to a strategic approach, as advised by his lawyer, due to the perceived lack of willingness from others to listen to his side of the story.

He emphasized that his intention in sharing this information is not to instigate public judgment or condemnation against Gift Camille but to assert his innocence.

Lil Frosh clarified that his goal is for everyone to know the truth and for his fans to understand his innocence in the matter.

The singer wrote, “I wasn’t with you in 2023,I was at your mercy in 2023,I was desperate for my career.

“All I wanted was for you to come to the public and tell them I never did everything you accused me of, I wanted you to withdraw the case from court.

“My lawyer in his word said “since no one is willing to listen to you,you will have to do mumu so that she will withdraw the case from court” we both felt you would help say the truth as to what happened.

“At this point I’m not posting so that the world would cancel or 8ht you,I just want everyone to know I am innocent and to my fans I am innocent.”
