Leading up to the traditional ceremony on Friday, the actor shared a pre-wedding photo on his Instagram, featuring him kneeling before Boluwatiwi with a goat around his neck.
In the caption, he humorously wrote, “Tiwi, I come to you humbly as a G.O.A.T with a goat. Are you ready to dance, Ayamii?”
At the traditional wedding, Boluwatiwi adorned herself in an elegant ensemble, donning a beautifully tied orange-brown gele, a matching blouse, and a skirt.
She added a delightful touch with orange accessories, including a hand fan, and adorned her neck and hands with red coral beads for a graceful finish.
Kunle Remi, on the other hand, wore a brown agbada paired with trousers of the same color and material. He accessorized with red coral beads and completed his look with brown shoes.
During the emotional wedding ceremony, the bride, Tiwi, was visibly moved, shedding tears of joy as she held onto her parents.
In a touching moment captured on video, Tiwi was seated between her parents, breaking down in tears, while another clip showed her father comforting her as she took the significant step towards becoming Mrs. Remi.
The star-studded event was attended by prominent figures in the movie industry, including Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, who is the blood brother of the bride’s mother.
Other notable guests included actors, actresses, and Kunle’s best friend, Bimbo Ademoye, who played the role of the best lady.
KanyiDaily recalls that Kunle Remi had announced his marriage to his partner, Tiwi, on New Year’s Day, marking the beginning of the year with this significant event.
