During the early stages of the court proceedings, the Prosecution Counsel, Mr. J.S Atinko, presented information stating that the convict and two accomplices, who are currently at large, trespassed into Ikenna Oko’s shop at A49 Hamza Abdullahi Road, Paze II, with the intention of theft.
He reported that the individuals conspired to enter the shop, where they used a machete to threaten the complainant’s salesgirl while attempting to steal her cell phone valued at N 150,000. The convict was apprehended after the salesgirl raised an alarm.
He said that the crimes went against the regulations specified in sections 348, 396, and 95 of the Penal Code.
