Mr Macaroni Tackles FG Over Killing Of Abducted Abuja Student, Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar

Nigerian comedian, Adebowale Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has tackled the Federal Government over its failure to address the escalating insecurity in the country.

Mr Macaroni’s remarks were prompted by the tragic death of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, one of the six family members who were kidnapped in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Alhaji Mansoor Al-Kadriyar and his six daughters fell victim to abduction over a week ago in the Bwari Area Council of the FCT.

The heartbreaking incident took the life of Nabeeha, a 400-level biological science student at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria, who was murdered by her abductors on Friday.

The kidnappers had initially demanded a ransom of N60 million, which was subsequently increased to N100 million after the tragic death of Nabeeha.

Expressing his sorrow over the incident via his Twitter page, Mr Macaroni questioned the government’s actions and policies regarding the safety of citizens.

The comedian lamented the loss of Nabeeha and raised concerns about the value placed on human lives in Nigeria.

Mr Macaroni emphasized the urgency for the government to take decisive actions to prevent further tragedies, stating that every Nigerian life is significant.

He called for an end to the prevailing state of insecurity, referring to it as a form of barbarism that must be addressed promptly and responsibly.

“It’s so sad to hear about the death of Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar. Six sisters were kidnapped and one had been killed. What is the government doing to ensure that the remaining five are not killed?

“Where is the value of human lives in Nigeria? How many more must die? How many more Nigerians will be sacrificed on the altar of irresponsibility and recklessness?

“The life of every Nigerian matters. The government must rise up and put an end to this barbarism,” he wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Macaroni had previously criticized the lack of discretion and sensitivity exhibited by Nigerian leaders.
