Sophia escalated the conflict with Davido by serving him with a cease and desist letter through her legal representatives, PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors.
The letter accuses Davido of engaging in cyberbullying and harassment.
This development follows recent accusations from Tiwa Savage, who claimed that Davido had threatened her over her relationship with Sophia Momodu.
In the cease and desist letter, Davido was accused of orchestrating smear campaigns on social media, coordinating cyberbullying attacks, and making threatening remarks directed at Momodu and her associates.
The letter also highlighted the persistence of Davido’s disruptive and unlawful conduct despite prior communication with his legal team and an ongoing police investigation into a petition against him.
The legal document argued that such behavior not only violates Momodu’s constitutional rights but also disregards fundamental principles of decency and respect.
Momodu’s lawyer emphasized in the letter that Davido will be held accountable for any harm inflicted on Sophia Momodu.
The letter partly read: “It is shocking that notwithstanding our earlier email to your good self which was not responded to and the Petition against your client curently being investigated by the Police, your client has continued with his disruptive and unlawful conduct.
“Our client in the last couple of days has been subjected to a series of coordinated attacks and cyberbullying orchestrated by your client and his cohorts.
“We are again by this letter reiterating our position expressed in our earlier email that your client would be held responsible for any harm that may befall our client as such will be a clear manifestation of the threats and premedicated ambitions of your client.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Sophia Momodu was criticized for not publicly congratulating Davido and Chioma Rowland, on the birth of their twins.
