In a post shared on his Instagram page, Terry G expressed frustration over the issue, mentioning that he has been observing other artists speaking up about similar problems in the industry.
The singer warned that when he decides to share his own experience, it will cause significant repercussions.
Terry G claimed that he is owed 50% of the producer publishing royalties for a song he produced for Timaya.
He also lamented how other producers “use and dump” him in the music industry, yet he remains resilient despite the challenges.
Terry G wrote; “Looking at all the podcasts and disclosure artists speaking up, the day I go talk my own, the table will be used for firewood. If you know I produced this song for you.
“I need my 50% producer publishing royalties from Timaya and others. But all the producers out there use me as an example of how they use and dump greatness. But still, I rise.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Terry G recently expressed frustration about the lack of response from his fellow musicians when he reaches out to them.
