Over the weekend, the two actresses settled their differences through a celebrity boxing match, reminiscent of the earlier bout between Portable and Charles Okocha.
Following the match, Chizzy Alichi celebrated her victory on Instagram and extended love to Laide Bakare, reminding her of a promise to receive a bottle of champagne.
Surprisingly, Laide also declared herself the winner on her Instagram page, displaying a trophy and expressing gratitude to her fans for making it happen.
Despite her claim of winning the match, many people disputed it and crowned Chizzy as the winner, leading to Laide expressing her frustration about the fight.
In response to the criticism, Laide Bakare emphasized that while she usually avoids online fights, this particular situation is different due to the involvement of significant amounts of money.
The movie star expressed her refusal to tolerate manipulation and lies, questioning why she was being tagged as the loser of the match she won.
She wrote, “I have decided not to Ever fight on social media BUT THIS PARTICULAR ONE IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT INVOLVES Several millions of Dollars. And I will Never Tolerate this act of manipulation and lies.
“Why are people Tagging me loser of the Game? claiming I was Defeated in the just concluded CELEBRITY GLOBAL FIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. Anyway, no long story, HERE comes the receipt. I am the WINNER.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Portable and Okocha recently engaged in a boxing bout over an alleged N40m rip-off, with the singer being declared the winner.
