I Prefer Men Who Like Playing Video Games Over Those Who Love Going To Club – Tyla

Grammy-winning South African singer, Tyla has opened up about her relationship status, affirming that she is currently single.

In an exclusive interview with Power 96.5 FM in Miami,  Tyla clarified that her flourishing wasn’t influenced by heartbreak, but a purposeful choice rooted in her unwavering dedication to her flourishing music career.

The ‘Water’ hitmaker, who delved into her romantic preferences, highlighted her commitment to personal and professional development.

When probed by the host about her ideal partner – one engrossed in video games or a regular patron of the nightlife – Tyla promptly conveyed her preference.

She said, “Video games all day. A club guy? No! What the hell? I would rather have a boyfriend who plays video games than a boyfriend who is at the club every weekend. At least, I know the guy who plays video games will always be home with me. I also love being at home.”

Reacting to her current single status, Tyla disclosed, “Yes, I am single. I’m not playing with all of that right now. I am focusing on the prize.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Nigerian music star, Davido had recently congratulated Tyla for winning the inaugural Best African Music Performance category at the 66th Grammy Awards.
