In a post shared on his Instagram story, Burna Boy criticized those who rely on blog like The Shade Room, labeling them as “weirdos.”
He pointed out that the photo in question was from 2021 when he shaved his beard and emphasized that it’s disappointing how such trivial matters overshadow his significant achievements and contributions.
The singer said that amidst all his groundbreaking accomplishments, these foreign outlets only seem interested in his personal life and inconsequential details like his grooming choices.
Burna Boy issued an apology to Nigerian media, acknowledging that he previously thought their stupidity was unique, only to realize that it’s a trait learned from Western media outlets.
He wrote, “To all you weirdos who depend on @theshaderoom @theshadeborough and other weirdos’ blogs for your daily news.
“I shaved my beard in 2021 not now. But it’s good to know that for all the history I’ve been making and records I’ve been setting and breaking.
“You PARASITES only care about who I might have fucked, who I’m fùcking, and stupīd shit like “Burna Boy shaved his beard”.
“I gotta apologize to Nigerian blogs now cuz I thought their stupidity was unique. I didn’t know they learned all they know from the West”.
KanyiDaily recalls that Burna Boy previously said that he is considering employing 100 lawyers to sue Nigerian bloggers for slander.
