Mr Ibu’s Son And Brother Allegedly Involved In Physical Fight Over Late Actor’s Properties

The family of the late Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has been at the center of controversy since his death.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Ibu passed away on March 2, 2024, a few weeks after returning from the hospital where he underwent a series of surgeries, including the amputation of one of his legs.

A fresh report by Instagram blogger, Tosin, indicated that there was a physical altercation involving Mr Ibu’s son and brother during family meeting concerning the late actor’s properties.

According to him, the dispute escalated to the point of physical violence, resulting in injuries including bruises and bleeding.

Tosin also shared images online showing Mr. Ibu’s son with visible bruises on his neck, back, and fingers.

Despite the circulation of these images online, no official confirmation regarding the altercation has been made by any members of the family.

KanyiDaily recalls that Mr Ibu’s adopted daughter, Chioma Jasmine Okafor was accused of taking over the late actor’s TikTok account after his death, and converted it for personal use.
