“Tinubu Has Done Very Well, Nigeria Is So Complex” – Buhari

Former president, Muhammadu Buhari claims President Bola Tinubu has performed very well in leading the country amid challenging circumstances inherited when he assumed office in May 2023.

Buhari stated this during a meeting with the comptroller-general and members of the management team of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) in Daura, Katsina state, on Sunday, March 10.

Acknowledging the complexity of governing Nigeria, Buhari emphasized that leading the nation is a demanding task for anyone.

Despite the economic challenges faced by Nigerians nationwide, he praised Tinubu for his efforts and urged citizens to endure the economic hardships while supporting the policies and programs of the current administration.

“I thank you very much for coming. I very much appreciate it. I thought Tinubu has done very well. Nigeria is so complex. Really, there isn’t much anybody can do,” Buhari stated.

President Tinubu has faced criticism from some Nigerians, particularly regarding his government’s policies such as the removal of subsidy on petrol and the unification of the exchange rate, which have contributed to inflation and economic challenges.

KanyiDaily recalls that comedian, MC Pashun claimed that he missed Muhammadu Buhari due to the prevailing challenges under the current administration of President Bola Tinubu.
