The onging feud started on Monday when Wizkid shared a viral video of Davido, where the latter was seen crying on his knees, purportedly begging with an American model.
In his response, Davido took to the X platform later that evening, delivering what seemed like a veiled critique of Wizkid’s music, suggesting a decline in its recognition.
“Dem no know ur gbedu [music] again,” Davido tweeted.
Following Davido’s tweets, Wizkid responded saying, “U know what..no point. delusional niggas pray for y’all.”
Davido promptly quoted Wizkid’s post, describing him as a “sick man,” addressing Wizkid’s earlier comment about their alleged delusion.
Wizkid then shared the viral video of Davido begging, prompting Davido to respond, expressing regret for investing in resurrecting Wizkid’s career, only to see it fade once more.
He wrote, “That’s what I thought. Nothing to say! Exactly why I stopped wasting my clout and jeopardizing my millions of usd of endorsements on someone whose career was resurrected a few years ago just to die again. NEXT!!”.
The clash between Wizkid and Davido has stirred heated debates on social media, with fans of both artists engaging in online spats.
