A Young Author’s Journey
Faith’s interest in writing sparked from boredom and her love for reading other stories. Her parents, Lieutenant Colonel J.I. and Mrs. Mary Ogwu have always supported her creative pursuits.
Since she began writing in 2018 at the age of 8, Faith has published two books. Her first book, ”Book of 7 Stories” contains compelling narratives about acts of wickedness, violence, greed, pride, and destiny. Through these stories, Faith brings out valuable lessons on humility, love, discipline, the power of prayers, and respect for others.
Her second book, ”Lekan the Barrister” is a six-chapter chronicle of Lekan, a school dropout who becomes a barrister through determination and the encouragement of his wife, a medical doctor. Faith’s third book, ”15 Ways to a Good Life” is a motivational book that will soon be published, offering young readers practical advice and inspiration for living positively.
Balancing Life and Writing
Faith writes during the holidays or after school whenever inspiration strikes. She draws ideas from her surroundings and the events happening around her. “I try to be creative and write about what I see,” she explains. Balancing school, hobbies, and writing can be challenging, but Faith manages it with grace.
