Bovi was nominated for Best Writing TV Series for his work on “Visa On Arrival,” but lost to Mona Ombogo for “Volume.”
Taking to his Instagram, Bovi shared his frustration, revealing that despite receiving 7 nominations since the inception of the AMVCA awards, with 4 being individual nominations, he hasn’t clinched any wins.
Despite this setback, he remained optimistic, aiming to secure 10 awards before the 20th anniversary of AMVCA.
The comedian further gracefully congratulated all the winners, acknowledging their deserving achievements.
He wrote, “AMVCA10: All my nominations since inception – 7, Individual nominations – 4, Wins – 0. Expected wins before #AMVCA20 – 10. Congrats to all the winners from last night. Very deserving.”
KanyiDaily recalls that Bovi Ugboma recently expressed frustration towards Nigerians living in America and Canada who are asking for free tickets to his concert.
