James Brown Visits Kirikiri Prison To See Bobrisky Jailed For 6 Months Over Naira Abuse

Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown, made a surprising visit to his fellow controversial figure, Bobrisky, at Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison in Lagos State.

On April 12, Justice Abimbola Awogboro sentenced Bobrisky to six months in prison without the option of a fine for abusing the naira by spraying the currency at a party, resulting in its mutilation.

The judge while sentencing the crossdresser, said the verdict would serve as a deterrent to others that are fond of abusing the Naira.

Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, June 7,  James Brown shared photos of his visit, stating that he and his group met with prison officials to check on Bobrisky.

Interestingly, James Brown dressed in men’s clothing for the occasion.

Sharing the photos, he wrote: “I went to KIREKIRE PRISON to visit BOBRISKY to know if she alright.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Bobrisky recently challenged the six-month imprisonment handed to him, saying it should be replaced with a fine of N200,000.
