“Olu Jacobs Is Alive” – Joke Silva Dismisses Husband’s Death Rumour Again

Veteran Nollywood actress, Joke Silva has addressed the rumors circulating on social media about her husband, Olu Jacobs, being dead.

On Sunday, June 30, reports claimed that Olu Jacobs had passed away at the age of 82, leading to an outpouring of tributes and reactions from fans and colleagues.

Many fans reminisced about his legendary contributions to Nigerian cinema and praised his exemplary life.

Social media was flooded with heartfelt messages, with one fan saying, “He was a legend that gave Nigerians unforgettable memories,” and another commenting, “Rest well, legend. He lived a good life.”

The news left many saddened, highlighting the void his absence would create in the industry.

However, in an interview with newsmen this evening, Olu Jacobs’ wife Joke Silva debunked the rumor, stating that “her husband is alive and doing just fine.”

This is the second time rumors about the death of the renowned Nigerian actor and film executive, whose real name is Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs, have circulated on social media.
