In a video shared on social media, Portable claimed that Davido invited him to dinner in Atlanta, the United States, promising to feature him in a song, but never followed through.
Portable expressed his frustration, saying that Davido gave him bad advice and suggested he record with Empire Music while the Afrobeats superstar worked with Sony Music.
The singer opined that he is a ‘superstar’, stressing that Davido should have paid him $10,000 for the publicity.
“Davido ripped me, you invited me out for dinner, you posted me, but you didn’t give me a verse, you didn’t give me money, you just used me to trend.
“$10,000 wouldn’t have been bad if you gave me that at least. He said I am proud. I boarded a first-class flight to America.
“He didn’t give me anything, he is just flattering. He is not one of my philanthropists because he didn’t give me money,” Portable said in a disjointed street lingo.
KanyiDaily recalls that Portable and Davido fell out after the former publicly accused the latter of giving him “bad advice” during their dinner in the United States.
