In a recent interview with BBC Igbo, Cubana Chief Priest revealed that he relocated because of Insecurity which has also resulted in widespread hunger in the region.
The socialite explained that the fear of kidnapping and killing had scared away customers from the Southeast, who used to visit regularly.
He said, “There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is our own community members who provide criminals with information.
“Our people began targeting the wealthy, so the wealthy stopped returning home during festivities. That’s why I moved to Lagos to conduct my business.”
KanyiDaily recalls that a young man named Bethel Okechukwu, who claims to be Cubana Chief Priest’s brother, recently accused him of abandoning him to struggle in poverty.
