The extreme weather has wreaked havoc in the city, causing power cuts for more than 100,000 residents and leaving motorists stranded.
Environment Canada reported nearly 100mm of rain fell in a single day, breaking a record set in 1941.
Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, shared a video on Instagram showing the damage inside his home, often called ‘The Embassy’.
The video showed his large dressing room filled with brown, muddy water, reaching ankle-deep and partially covering some of his expensive cream-colored furniture.
The camera panned down to show Drake wading through the deep water. Despite the situation, the 37-year-old made jokes about the state of his home.
Toronto Hydro reported the weather caused flooding and power disruptions for 105,000 customers. However, Drake appeared to still have power, as the lights were on in his home.
“This better be Espresso Martini,” he joked, referring to the similar color of the water and the cocktail.
Drake bought the plot of land for his home in 2015 for $6.7 million and spent a reported $100 million constructing the lavish mansion.
This comes two months after Toronto police confirmed that Drake’s security guard was shot outside his mansion.
