Some users suggested the album didn’t get enough attention because there weren’t any negative comments from “haters.”
Reacting on his X page, Victony called this assumption “dumb” and said people have unrealistic expectations for his album based on his current status in the industry.
He added that he isn’t in a hurry to reach the level of his colleagues, Rema and Asake.
The singer said, “Lmao, Victony need more haters gotta be the dumbest shit I seen cos what’s the rush? Everyone wanna be Rema and Asake in 2 hours?”
KanyiDaily recalls that Victony recently revealed that he wanted to become a rapper because he felt that singing was for weak people.
