Send Kuti who criticized Iyabo Ojo For using the police against VeryDarkMan, accused her of politicizing the death of music artist Mohbad.
The drama began over the weekend after Ojo accused Kuti of supporting VeryDarkMan, who she claims is causing trouble online.
Kuti responded to Ojo’s allegations during an Instagram livestream, denying that he was creating confusion and labeling Ojo as “an oppressor.”
The musician clarified that his issue was with Ojo arresting VeryDarkMan, not their social media feud.
He said, “I’m not a confusionist. And there was no time I opposed you fighting VeryDarkMan. I only said you shouldn’t be locking people up.
“If you’re angry I said you shouldn’t use the police to oppress people, please, don’t be angry. Continue to be an oppressor. Use the police to arrest everyone.
‘In fact, come and arrest me too. You guys are the billionaires, the owners of Nigeria, if you get angry, everywhere will explode. So don’t be angry.
“I apologise for myself and on behalf of VeryDarkMan. Please, don’t flex your power. [Hisses] Nonsense!”
Kuti also accused Ojo of using Mohbad’s death to target rapper Naira Marley who was her former friend.
He said, “I don’t do personal things because I can’t stand it…You people politicised Mohbad’s death.
“I don’t believe that you politicised his death because you were trying to find justice for him, I believe that it’s just a movement against Naira Marley at the end of the day. Nobody can tell me otherwise, or anything other than that.
“When Naira Marley was bully!ng Mohbad, you were sending your children to Naira Marley’s house to visit. Mohbad had made a police report at that time”
KanyiDaily recalls that Iyabo Ojo recently threatened to beat VeryDarkMan’s mother amid their ongoing feud.
