Burna Boy Caught On Camera Stepping On Naira Notes While Dancing At Nightclub [Video]

Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy has sparked controversy after he was caught on camera stepping on Naira notes while dancing at a nightclub in Lagos.

In the video, Burna Boy is seen enjoying himself with socialite Yhemolee and others, dancing energetically to songs like “Higher” and the “Tshwala Bam” remix.

What caught people’s attention was Burna Boy stepping on some Naira notes during the night out at Hot Box club, which is against Nigeria’s rules for handling currency.

In Nigeria, spraying, dancing on, or stepping on the Naira is considered abuse and can lead to a punishment of up to six months in prison, a 50,000 Naira fine, or both.

The video of Burna Boy stepping on the Naira notes has triggered strong reactions among Nigerians on social media.
