Videos circulating on social media showed the crowd marching through Tundun Wada in Kaduna, with some protesters waving the Russian flag.
KanyiDaily recalls that on Monday, the Kaduna State Government imposed a 24-hour curfew on Kaduna and Zaria, effective immediately.
Mr. Samuel Aruwan, the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, said the decision was made after reviewing the protests.
The Commissioner claimed that the protests had been taken over by criminals who were looting shops and destroying property.
Aruwan advised residents to stay indoors while security forces work to maintain safety, adding that the curfew will be monitored and adjusted as needed.
KanyiDaily had reported that since the #EndBadGovernance protest started, more than 14 people have been killed across Nigeria.
