Her death was confirmed by her colleague, Esther Igbekele, on Tuesday, August 13.

The cause of her death is still unknown at this time.
Born in Ilesha, Aduke Gold, formerly known as Aduke Penkele, grew up in the Ogba and Badagry areas of Lagos.
The gospel singer was from a polygamous family and was the 11th child of her late parents.
Aduke Gold began her professional music career in 2004. She gained fame with her live performance at the first remembrance event for the late gospel artist Baba Ara.
One of her well-known tracks, “Nitori Ogo,” released in 2021, also brought her significant attention.
Besides her music career, Aduke Gold was also passionate about educating young children.
She held a degree in history and international relations from Lagos State University and a second degree in early childhood education from the University of Lagos.
