His fellow musician, Soggy Doggy confirmed the tragic news via social media on Sunday, August 11, 2024, extending his condolences to Mandojo’s family and friends.
He wrote, “Rest in peace. Mandojo, surely human life is very short on this earth. Sorry brothers, relatives and friends and I’m very sorry my brother @domokayatz God’s work has no mistakes.”
His colleague, Domo Kaya, also paid tribute, expressing disbelief about the timing of Mandojo’s passing and wished him eternal peace.
“Daaaah MY SON I don’t believe the 22nd of this month is supposed to be your birthday Aisee why! This is so sad. Rest in peace. may God give you eternal light, friend, brother,” he wrote.
Mandojo was killed just days before his birthday. He was known for hit songs like “Nikupe” and “Dingi.”
