Skales arrived at the airport well before the flight’s departure time and checked in early at the Green Africa desk.
However, the singer said he was later informed that the flight was canceled due to the pilot’s illness.
Skales was furious, explaining that he was supposed to perform in Akure, where the flight was headed, and had been paid N15 million by celebrity designer Seyi Vodi for the performance.
In a video, the singer could be seen shouting at the airline staff, who had no satisfactory response.
He shared his frustration on Instagram, saying the cancellation cost him N15 million and questioning whether the airline had known about the pilot’s illness in advance.
Skales wrote: ”@greenafrica__ wow! I booked a flight to Akure … I got to the airport early , we checked in and all of a sudden you cancelled the flight because your pilot got sick? This is unbelievable man.. I have lost money( I was paid 15 million naira by @seyivodi for f*** sake) because of your horrible customer disrespect… so you knew all along that your pilot was sick or is this some sick joke … you waited until it was flight time .. I just can’t believe this … this country man gosh … we go see”
KanyiDaily recalls that Skales recently opened up about his romantic past, revealing that he’s dated around 100 women.
